Join the Outing Club for an exciting afternoon at TreeTop Adventures in Canton, MA, a self-guided ropes course set high in the
trees with bridges, ladders, and zip lines! This beginner-friendly experience uses a state-of-the-art harness and clip system for full
independence with staff supervision throughout.
We’ll meet at the Salem End Parking Lot at 1:35 PM and depart promptly at 1:45 PM to carpool to the park. Once we arrive, there
will be a check-in and safety orientation before we begin climbing.
Event Schedule:
1:35 PM – Meet at Salem End Parking Lot (be on time!)
1:45 PM – Depart for TreeTop Adventures
2:30 PM – Arrive at TreeTop Adventures (200 New Boston Dr, Canton, MA 02021)
2:30–2:45 PM – Check-in and waiver signing
2:45–5:45 PM – Climbing session
5:45 PM – Depart for campus
6:30 PM – Arrive back at FSU
What to Bring & Wear:
Dress for the weather
Closed-toe athletic shoes required (sneakers or running shoes ideal) No Crocs, sandals, ballet flats, heels, etc.
Secure any loose items (phones, keys) in zippered pockets
Climbing gloves required: Bring your own (gardening, weightlifting, or cycling gloves are fine) Or buy a pair at check-in for $5 (not
provided by the club)
Water bottle (hydration stations available in the park)
Snacks (optional - you may bring your own food)
What to Expect:
Participants will be guided through a safety orientation and practice session. Then you’ll climb independently through a variety of
obstacles and zip lines with staff stationed throughout the course for assistance.
This is a physical activity but accessible to beginners and fun for all experience levels! DATE: Sunday, April 19, 2026
